Solstice Takes Top Honors in the 2009 Summit International Emerging Media Awards
Solstice is pleased to announce that is a Leadership Award winner in the 2009 Summit Emerging Media Awards (EMA). The accolade was awarded to Solstice for the agency's work with Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) and the Kenaitze Indian Tribe (KIT). This international competition was created to identify the world's communication pioneers; all forms of emerging media are explored, examined and awarded. The EMA is open to companies of all sizes, making it a fiercely competitive forum for leading agencies around the globe.
"Those involved in today's emerging media technologies are the leaders, who are establishing tomorrow's avenues of advertising communications." Said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director for the Summit International Awards (SIA). "Most communication professionals recognize that established avenues of communication can be reliable and safe. Developing and engaging in emerging media technologies, along with creative messaging and market awareness, is often a difficult criterion which makes earning a Summit EMA a significant achievement."

Solstice team hosts table at Calista Business Reception
This past summer Calista Corporation held its inaugural Business Reception, a B2B event that introduced the company's subsidiaries to the Alaska business community. Solstice planned, managed and publicized the event for Calista, and also staffed a booth there to hand out information and meet prospective clients.
The team had a great time, and the Solstice "Creative Survival Kits," which were given out to those who stopped by, were a huge hit. The bags, which held branded water bottles, matches, duct tape and other useful items also contained a Solstice glow stick. Brightly shining bags could be seen all over the event.
